Description
What you'll do
You'll support the logistics planning team in the early phase of new vehicle projects, influencing the development of components in close collaboration with the development, procurement, quality, controlling, and production planning departments. Your tasks will include the implementation of optimal material flow and delivery processes, as well as strategic evaluations of vehicle components, including make-or-buy assessments. You'll also focus on 'design for logistics' in the context of logistics cost estimation.
What you need
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, is required.
