C++ Generalist Software Engineer Co-op

Electronic Arts is seeking a C++ Generalist Software Engineer Co-op to join their team in Vancouver for an 8-month internship starting in May 2027.

As a C++ Software Engineer Co-op, you will work on the game’s UI tech stack, designing, implementing, debugging, and maintaining code for game features and components. You will also collaborate with engineers across the company to deliver online features for established and upcoming games, and work with technical and non-technical game developers locally and remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the game’s UI tech stack

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Enrolled in an accredited degree program, returning to school for at least one semester after internship
• Graduating in May 2028 or later
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Entry-level experience; prior internship, coursework, or relevant personal or academic projects

Technical Qualifications:

• Solid foundational understanding of modern C++
• Understanding of standard code formatting, syntax conventions, and build stability
• Ability to systematically trace logic errors and leverage standard IDE debugging tools
