Director, Player Experience (PX) Research

Electronic Arts is seeking a Director, Player Experience (PX) Research to lead a global team of researchers dedicated to shaping exceptional experiences for players and ensuring the future of entertainment.

As a senior leader in the PQI organization, you will define and implement the player experience research vision for our global portfolio, ensuring that our understanding of players informs every strategic and artistic decision.

Key responsibilities:

Requirements:

• At least 12 years of experience in user or player research, consumer trends, or related field, including 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary research teams
• Proven track record of developing and implementing research strategies that influence artistic and commercial outcomes
• Experience collaborating with analytics, data science, and market research teams to synthesize findings and inform strategic decisions
• Strong leadership skills, with ability to manage, motivate, and grow a diverse and distributed research team
• Expertise in mixed-methods research, with comfort with quantitative and qualitative approaches, as well as telemetry-based methods
• Passion for understanding players, their motivations, and behaviors, and ability to translate this understanding into meaningful experiences

Benefits:

• Competitive salary ($169,500 - $242,600 CAD, $193,100 - $296,500 USD, or $182,600 - $247,100 USD depending on location)
