Senior Cloud Developer, Infra Services

Prudential is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer, Infra Services to join their team.

The role requires strong experience in platform engineering across Azure and GCP with the ability to create scalable, secure, and reusable services. You will also use AI-assisted, spec-driven development approaches to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and help build infrastructure agentic workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Own cloud platform services end to end, from design and development through to deployment, operations, and continuous improvement
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and drive automation-first engineering using Django (Python), APIs, Infrastructure as Code, Agentic workflows, and cloud/web services development
• Apply AI-assisted and spec-driven development methods to improve engineering productivity and service delivery
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platform architectures and shared services
• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to improve self-service capabilities, developer experience, and translation of business needs into technical solutions

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering across Azure and GCP
• Proven ability to code and deliver production-grade platform services
• Expertise in Django, Infra as Code, Agentic workflows, Kubernetes, internal developer platforms, and cloud/web services development
• Experience with AI-assisted, agentic, and spec-driven development approaches, including building infrastructure agentic workflows
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate business objectives into clear technical requirements

Experience

• 5+ years in software/cloud engineering
• Experience building platforms or shared cloud services
