Description
ICON is seeking a Scientist I to join their team in Whitesboro, New York. As a Scientist I, you will be responsible for conducting validated assays on biological samples from pre-clinical and clinical trials for pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct day-to-day activities required to maintain the bioanalytical laboratory
- Independently conduct validated assays on biological samples
- Support data input into laboratory information management systems
- Prepare reagents, buffers, solutions, and solvents in accordance with SOPs
- Train on, employ, and maintain routine operation, maintenance, and theory of instrumentation and software systems
- Manage and keep current all training requirements
- Follow SOPs and relevant compliance regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Biotechnology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Familiarization with basic laboratory operations is preferred
- Knowledge of binding assay formats and platforms, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize and prioritize work is required

Salary Range: $68,616.00-$85,770.00
