Senior Accountant-Revenue & Platform Accounting

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Revenue & Platform Accounting team. You will contribute to key areas of StockX order-to-cash, spanning payment processor reconciliations, exception resolution, and other revenue-related transactions across the StockX platform.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end monthly close responsibilities for StockX platform activity, including preparation and posting of journal entries, reconciliation of payment processor receivables, and reconciliation of associated balance sheet accounts.
• Collaborate internally and with cross-functional business partners to streamline processes and contribute to an efficient, effective, and accurate month-end close.
• Research and drive resolution of exceptions with key cross-functional stakeholders in Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Transportation.
• Assist with external audit requests, including preparing supporting schedules and documentation.
• Partner with Data Engineering and Product teams to implement accounting changes stemming from platform and product updates, designing data flows, proactively flagging exposures, and addressing exceptions as encountered.
• Participate in special projects, user acceptance testing for new products, and analysis and reporting as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of progressive experience in US GAAP accounting.
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP (with a focus on ASC 606) required, or ability to learn US GAAP from a foundation in IFRS and/or Ind AS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience analyzing high-volume, multi-currency transactions in a global business environment using Excel and data visualization tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English, confidence working with internal stakeholders, and comfort working across international time-zones and occasional US-based scheduling.
• An interest in using new technologies, such as AI and automation tools, to make reconciliations, journal preparation, and workflows more efficient while ensuring completeness & accuracy and protecting confidential data.
