Sr. Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to join our Field Engineering team at Databricks. As a Sr. Solutions Architect, you will be an essential part of our mission to make data science and analytics accessible to everyone. You will work with a collaborative, customer-focused team to create customized solutions to help our customers achieve their goals and guide their businesses forward.

The impact you will have:

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in your designated territory.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
• Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
• Be a champion for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

What we look for:

• 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
• Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
• Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
• Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
• Can travel up to 30% when needed.

Salary Range: $219,100-$301,300 USD
