At Databricks, a company that provides a unified platform for data science and analytics, you will be a Solutions Architect in the Communications, Media, Entertainment & Gaming sector.
You will use your technical expertise to demonstrate how Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve complex data challenges. You'll work with a collaborative, customer-focused team that values innovation and creativity, using your skills to create customized solutions to help customers achieve their goals.
The impact you will have:
- Develop customer engagement strategies with Account Executives in your territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and 3rd party applications.
- Be a champion for both customers and colleagues, operating as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to Databricks' technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.

What we look for:
- 7+ years of presales/customer-facing technical experience.
- Experience in engaging in complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales capacity.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
- Prior experience with coding in a core programming language (i.e., Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs-of-concept and public cloud platform(s).
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
- Can travel up to 30% when needed.
The pay range for this role is $139,700-$247,300 USD.
