Nebius is looking for a Data Excellence Manager to join our Data & Analytics organization, leading cross-functional data initiatives and processes.
The role combines data excellence with strong project and process management. You will work with business stakeholders, Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to translate business needs into clear requirements, establish effective working processes, and ensure that trusted data products and initiatives are delivered successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional data initiatives from requirements through production and business adoption, defining deliverables, milestones, owners & success criteria.
- Establish processes for intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery of data products and analytical support.
- Define standards for data quality, ownership, documentation, access, and change management; drive resolution of data-quality issues.
- Drive accountability for delivery commitments through regular sprint and project reviews.
- Own the business glossary, aligning terms, KPIs, calculations, sources, and owners.
- Proactively communicate progress, successes, delays & risks to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience in data excellence, governance, quality, analytics, BI, data product management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects from requirements through implementation and adoption.
- Technical fluency to work with data functions on ingestion, table structures, and supporting processes.
- Strong understanding of data quality, KPI definitions, ownership & documentation.
- Strong project and process management skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable data requirements.
- Working knowledge of spoken and written English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, DBT, data catalogs, or cloud data platforms.
- Experience with executive / functional reporting, self-service analytics, AI-powered data products.
- Familiarity with data classification, privacy, security, and access controls.
