Physical Therapist - Outpatient

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team at Atrium Health Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine in Huntersville/Lake Norman. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop and implement care plans, and provide therapy sessions to help patients achieve their goals.

Essential Functions:

• Evaluate patients and create personalised care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records and patient interactions
• Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions
• Document patient progress and communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 50 pounds
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking required
• Occasional climbing of stairs, kneeling, twisting, bending, crouching, crawling, and reaching overhead

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support certification
