Description
We are seeking highly skilled linguists to join our team of game testers in Montreal. As a linguist, you will be responsible for correcting text and content in games, verifying consistency, and proposing changes where necessary. You will also write error reports, perform minor translations, and verify subtitles correspond to audio tracks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Polish and English, both spoken and written. They will be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, as this is a requirement for maintaining constant communication with clients and teams outside of Quebec.
Responsibilities:
- Correct text and content in games (grammar, syntax, typography)
- Verify consistency and propose changes where necessary
- Write error reports
- Perform minor translations
- Verify subtitles correspond to audio tracks
Requirements:
- Strong command of Polish and English, both spoken and written
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Available to work역 in Montreal
- Canadian citizen, resident, or have a work permit or be in the process of obtaining one
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks while managing time efficiently
- Familiarity with digital technologies (computers, game consoles, touch screens)
- Interest in the video game industry
- Experience in a relevant field or related to the video game industry (an asset)
- Experience in a similar role (an asset)
