Description
We are seeking a Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Inbound (Stocking) to join our team at Target.
As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, customizing each experience, and anticipating guest needs. You will work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock for guests. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with truck unload process and stocking product to the sales floor, making changes to sales floor merchandise displays, conducting weekly price change workload, and completing scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
In this role, you will:
- Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
- Greet guests, help them find what they need, and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
- Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock for guests
- Assist with truck unload process and stock product to the sales floor
- Make changes to sales floor merchandise displays
- Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately
- Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy
- Support execution of major transitions
- Maintain interior and exterior brand, including emptying garbage cans and attending to restroom cleanliness
- Accurately execute all fills and organize and store reserve product
- Process all inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy
- Complete all backroom daily and weekly audits
- Operate powered equipment to move merchandise on the sales floor and in the backroom (if certified)
- Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy
- Follow processes accurately with attention to detail and monitor own progress
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work in a safe manner at all times and comply with all safety policies
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up
