Bike Assembler and Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Bike Assembler and Mechanic to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assembling and inspecting complete box and custom bikes, including frame preparation, wheel building, and truing
• Managing inventory issues and order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping
• Performing general shop duties, training, and special projects as directed by the supervisor
• Providing support to other fulfillment departments when needed

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years of experience as a high-end mountain and road bike assembler/mechanic
• Proficiency in the following areas:
• Disc brake setup
• Derailleur setup and adjustment
• Suspension
• Proper frame preparation techniques (facing and tapping)
• Wheel truing
• Understanding of bicycle fit
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computer programs, including general computer, email, word processing, and internet skills

The hourly rate for this position is $19 - $20.
