We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our high-performing Earnix Team at Aviva Canada. The Earnix Team works at the intersection of insurance, technology, and analytics to deliver better pricing solutions through innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will help shape the future of pricing at Aviva. Working alongside Pricing, Data Science, and IT teams, you will evaluate emerging technologies, pilot new capabilities, and deliver solutions that create meaningful business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Senior Actuarial Manager and key stakeholders to evaluate and implement innovative Earnix capabilities.
- Support platform innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Research, assess, and pilot new Earnix features and capabilities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Demand Models, Price Optimization, and other advanced Earnix capabilities.
- Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for innovation initiatives.
- Provide coaching and knowledge-sharing support to team members and users.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of P&C actuarial experience.
- Completion of 4+ CAS exams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in programming (Python) and data manipulation tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a collaborative environment.
