Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team in London. You will be responsible for delivering cleaning services to client facilities in and around the building to a high standard.

The contract is Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 12 noon, 15 hours per week, and Monday - Friday, 13:00 - 17:00, 20 hours per week, with a pay rate of £14.80 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning and some landscape duties on an external environment, road, and car parks
• Being a helpful point of contact for customers who need assistance
• Being watchful for health and safety issues and reporting them to the management team
• Ensuring that the cleaning/maintenance checks & site-specific compliances are adhered to
• Keeping the site safe, clean & welcoming towards our client & customers
• Being an excellent ABM brand ambassador

Requirements:

• Cleaner/Maintenance service experience within the retail or similar environment (preferable)
• Good inter-personal and communication skills
• Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Approachable and courteous manner
• An understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in an active corporate building
• Excellent attention to detail within cleaning/maintenance responsibilities
• The ability to be flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role & the business
