Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in Electrical or Electronics Engineering to join our team as an Applications Engineering, Staff Engineer - DFT.

You will be collaborating with customers to evaluate their methodologies and flows, providing valuable insights to our test product business unit. You will participate in customer design and flow reviews, consulting on test solutions during design planning, including Memory/SCAN testing architecture, DFT IP insertion, pattern generation, and validation flow.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Providing technical support and expertise for customers leveraging Synopsys Test Automation tools across various applications.
  • Working closely with solution architects and R&D teams to align with customer requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Communicating effectively in English to support and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in DFT methodologies and tools to continuously improve your skill set and contribute to innovative solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance customer satisfaction by providing expert insights and solutions tailored to their specific needs. You will support the successful implementation of Synopsys Test Automation tools, driving customer success across various applications.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A BE/ME, Btech/Mtech degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on work experience in ASIC DFT design.
  • Strong knowledge of various DFT methodologies, industrial standards, and practices.
  • Experience with industry-standard DFT tools, simulators, and waveform debug tools.
  • Hands-on experience with DFT circuit insertion, pattern generation, and validation.
  • Strong understanding of chip design, DFT principles, Verilog/System Verilog, and STA.
  • Knowledge of DDR/LPDDR is a plus.
