Solution Architect Data & AI Platform

We are seeking a Solution Architect Data & AI Platform to join our team at FUCHS. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and continuously developing solution architectures for the FUCHS Data & AI platform landscape based on SAP and Microsoft technologies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing, designing, and continuously improving solution architectures for the FUCHS Data & AI platform landscape using SAP and Microsoft technologies.
• Translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and future-proof data, analytics, automation, copilot, and AI solutions using strategic SAP and Microsoft platforms.
• Providing consulting and technical support to business and IT stakeholders during the selection, introduction, and use of SAP Business Data Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, SAP Joule, SAP Joule Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, and Power BI.
• Conducting and moderating architecture workshops, proofs of concepts, MVPs, technology evaluations, and architecture reviews to validate new Data & AI technologies and solution approaches.
• Applying and incorporating suggestions for further development of existing architecture principles, reference architectures, and best practices in concrete projects.
• Designing and technically shaping copilot, agent, and AI solutions, including the integration of SAP, Microsoft, and other enterprise applications via APIs and standardized integration mechanisms.
• Implementing and validating architecture, security, compliance, and governance specifications in concrete solution designs in close coordination with Enterprise Architecture, Data Office, Cyber Security, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Providing technical support during the introduction and scaling of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, SAP Joule, Joule Studio, Microsoft Fabric, and SAP Business Data Cloud within the FUCHS Group.
• Technically evaluating new platform services within concrete use cases, PoCs, and MVPs; providing recommendations to Enterprise Architecture.
• Guiding and leading external implementation partners regarding solution design, architecture conformity, technical quality, cost awareness, and adherence to defined architecture standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in data/analytics/AI low-code platforms, SAP analytics landscapes, cloud data architectures, enterprise integration, or comparable IT platform roles; explicit experience in introducing solutions such as SAP Business Data Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, SAP Joule, Joule Studio, Power Platform, or Power BI.
• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, SAP Joule, SAP Joule Studio, Power Platform, as well as architecture and integration methods for data, analytics, automation, and AI solutions.
• Experience in lateral leadership, technical coordination, architecture coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an international matrix organization; basic understanding of cost control, FinOps principles, and provider control in the context of scalable platform solutions.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical and functional requirements into pragmatic and future-proof solution architectures.
• Pronounced analytical, conceptual, and structuring abilities as well as a high level of quality, security, and responsibility awareness.
• High impact in international stakeholder networks; sovereign in collaboration with business, IT, regions, SAP, Microsoft, and external implementation partners.
• Pronounced innovation and technology affinity with the ability to quickly evaluate, adapt, and translate new platforms and technologies into business value.
• Pragmatic and result-oriented working style with a focus on business value, standardization, scalability, and sustainable solution implementation.
• Verifiable German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
