Senior System Software Engineer - Automotive

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior System Software Engineer to join our Automotive Team and help us develop innovative, safe, secure, and high-performance automotive systems.

You will design and develop safety (ISO26262) and security (ISO21434) compliant configuration software and system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop safety and security compliant configuration software and system software for NVIDIA DRIVE platform for autonomous vehicles.
• Perform development and bring-up activities for next-generation Tegra SOC hardware and Systems.
• Design debugging solutions and tooling to improve developer experience on DRIVE platform.
• Architect and implement solutions to sophisticated issues and defects involving interactions between components partitioned across the large software stack.
• Use Formal Methods to design and develop high integrity software.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering and more than 5+ years of experience with embedded systems.
• Experience configuring a complex virtualized system for the intended use case.
• Good understanding of computer architecture, operating system fundamentals, and Ethernet networking.
• Strong experience in understanding board schematics, debugging board design issues, and experience in engaging with vendors of hardware components.
• Strong Python/C/C++ and/or Ada/SPARK programming and debugging skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in taking features from inception to the product following the Software Development Process and hands-on experience with ISO26262 and ISO21434.
• Hands-on experience with formal methods, especially using TLA+ and Ada/SPARK toolchains.
