Assistant Manager Derivatives and Collateral Operation

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Markets Operations team as an Assistant Manager in Derivatives and Collateral Operation.

In this role, you will ensure the successful processing of daily margin payments and that all FIM, Audit, and regulatory controls and requirements are met at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that we know and understand the business, organisation structure, and contacts of all our clearing clients and internal clients.
• Acting as an effective point of contact for our clearing and collateral clients on any transaction, account, margin static, or market/product-related query.
• Handling client queries in a professional manner, acknowledging, owning to resolution, and demonstrating turnaround in line with agreed-upon timelines.
• Conducting daily reviews of bank reconciliation items and clearing these items within agreed-upon timeframes.
• Implementing a strong client profiling process.
• Participating actively in the design, testing, and rollout of new processes and strategic systems.
• Providing support and sharing knowledge on markets, products, procedures, and core operating platforms for team members.
• Ensuring that you subscribe to formal objectives and a personal development program with your manager.
• Participating actively in teamwork and leadership training and initiatives provided by the Bank.
• Safeguarding the Company from potential loss and ensuring that all procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Constantly reviewing procedures and workflows, identifying necessary changes or enhancements, and escalating to line managers.
• Ensuring that daily controls and checklists are completed accurately and on a timely manner, providing appropriate policing and enforcement within the team.
