Description
This position will manage large specialized Commercial and Industrial customers within Alabama Power Company's Western Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned Commercial & Industrial customers, including sales, customer service, rates, pricing, and power contracts
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure timely resolutions
- Retain and grow revenues from assigned managed customer accounts
- Develop and implement effective customer sales, service, energy efficiency, and satisfaction strategies
- Assess and maintain strong relationships with each customer
- Identify and pursue all sales potential
- Collaborate with team members to provide support and share best practices
- Communicate customers' scheduled events to relevant teams
- Leverage relationships with Power Delivery, Accounting, Energy Services, and other Corporate Marketing partners
- Be available beyond standard work hours to assist with customer-related activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a marketing-related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial/Industrial account management and/or Power Delivery
- Demonstrated experience working with commercial and industrial customers
- Experience with rates/pricing, bill calculation, rate studies, and contracts
- Proven record of achieving sales results and delivering excellent customer service
- Experience using internal tools such as IDMS-SAM, iClear, iRate, RateSIM, CSS, CIT, Energy Direct, Sales Cloud, etc.
- Excellent project management skills using MS Office products

- Demonstrated technical aptitude for commercial and industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- Sales-focused with the ability to identify, communicate, manage, and complete sales opportunities
- Organized self-starter with exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strategic and analytical thinker with accomplished interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Alabama Power Company's markets, customers, competitors, regulatory environment, and operating procedures
