Description

Electronic Arts is seeking an experienced Technical Artist to join the EA SPORTS FC studio. As a Technical Artist, you will be part of the Core FC development team and work closely with artists, project managers, and software engineers. Your main responsibilities will include art production workflows, tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, and shader development.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in cinematic or games production, with a background in Art, Design, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science. You should be comfortable working with both art and programming, and have extensive experience scripting/programming in Python and C#.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • At least 3 years of cinematic/games production experience
  • Game engine experience in environment creation is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is desired
  • Effective communication skills with different audiences
  • Extensive experience scripting/programming in Python and C#
  • Knowledge of 3D art packages (Maya)
  • Solutions-provider with testing and debugging technical issues
  • Willingness to learn and solve new problems
  • Passion for games!
