Description
We are seeking a Working Student Category Management & Shopper Insights to join our Category Development Team in Munich. As a Working Student, you will support the team in analysing data, developing project presentations, and creating concepts for implementation in trade. You will gain valuable insights into the Red Bull customer universe.
The future growth of our company depends heavily on successful and value-creating collaboration with our trade partners. We aim to be experts in the Energy Drinks category. In this role, you will help identify and leverage potential with our customers through data-driven consulting.
As a Working Student, you can support our Category Development Team from October 2024.
Responsibilities
- Shopper Insights: You will support the team in analysing data from internal and external sources (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, Unify, YouGov). Based on your analysis, you will develop revenue-increasing recommendations for the Energy Drinks category and Red Bull together with the Category Development Managers.
- Category Development Management: You will utilise or deepen your initial experiences in retail / beverage industry and/or Category Management (CM). You will support the team in developing CM concepts to increase sales of the Energy Drinks & Red Bull category. You will take on tasks in identifying conversion and sales potentials and developing sales arguments & sales-promoting tools.
- Category Management Projects: You will support Category Management projects in cooperation with our trade customers. You will develop assortment and placement recommendations for Energy Drinks.
- Business Strategy: You will contribute to our Business Planning and spread the Category Management mindset throughout the company. Through your own impulses, you will become part of our daily cross-functional collaboration across all departments.
Requirements
- Ideally, you have initial practical experience in trade marketing or Category Management.
- You have an open and confident appearance paired with contagious communication and presentation skills.
- You have an affinity for numbers, data, and Shopper Insights.
- You convince through your hands-on mentality and willingness to take responsibility in diverse fields of activity.
- You are enthusiastic about food retail and consumer goods (FMCG).
- You are proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- You are enrolled at a university in the field of business administration or comparable.
- You have very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
- You are a team player and enjoy laughing at yourself :)
