Patient Services Coordinator - Float

We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator - Float to join our team at PT Solutions Physical Therapy. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you’ll be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers,ensuring every step of the care journey is seamless, efficient, and supportive.

The successful candidate will take ownership of key administrative and communication processes that keep our practice moving. This includes verifying insurance coverage and securing prior authorizations to coordinating physician referrals and optimizing schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments

Requirements:

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, with experience in healthcare preferred
