Description
We are seeking a Senior Hypervisor and RTOS Engineer to join the Hypervisor and RTOS Team within NVIDIA DRIVE Software. As a leading artificial intelligence computing company, NVIDIA is paving the way with innovations in self-driving cars, machine learning, supercomputing, gaming, and visualization.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing new features for RTOS and hypervisor software stacks, bringing up and optimizing RTOS and hypervisor stacks on new NVIDIA Tegra SoCs, and developing high-integrity software using best-in-class engineering, safety, and security practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new features for RTOS and hypervisor software stack.
- Bring up and optimize RTOS and hypervisor stacks on new NVIDIA Tegra SoCs.
- Develop high-integrity software using best-in-class engineering, safety, and security practices.
- Debug complex system-level issues across hardware, firmware, RTOS, and virtualization layers.
- Lead team-wide technical initiatives by building alignment, coordinating execution, and driving them to completion.
Requirements:
- BS, MS in CS/CE/EE or a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Strong technical leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with experience driving cross-team initiatives.
- Strong systems programming experience in C/C++ and embedded software development.
- Deep understanding of RTOS concepts, operating-system internals, and hardware-assisted virtualization.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Automotive quality standards, ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434.
- A track record of influencing technical direction, aligning stakeholders, and driving complex, team-wide initiatives through completion.
