FBS Agile Dev Team Member III - QA

Agile Dev Team Members have collective responsibility for the design, development, testing and/or deployment of system functionality.

As an Agile Dev Team Member III with primarily a development discipline, you will provide technical feasibility using a range of coding methods and adhere to coding standards to ensure consistent style and format.

As an Agile Dev Team Member III with primarily a testing discipline, you will ensure the end product meets the business acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and execute tests early, often, and at multiple levels
• Provide broad level of thinking for exceptions and other unexpected ways users may interact with systems
• Utilize intermediate testing techniques and tools
• Write and refine user stories, including clear and accurate acceptance criteria
• Perform broad and detailed impact assessments relating people, processes and/or technology
• Estimate user stories using relative sizing of story points
• Support implementation activities, troubleshooting user/system environmental issues, and training as required

Requirements:

• SQL query writing and database validation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Team-oriented and collaborative approach
• API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools
• Strong defect triage and root cause analysis skills
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Basic understanding of automation frameworks (Selenium, Java, TestNG, or similar)
• Experience with test management tools such as Rally, JIRA
