Security Officer

As a Security Officer at ABM UK, you will ensure the safety and security of clients' premises and personnel.

Hourly Rate: £14.39 Per Hour Contract: Full Time Permanent 42 Hours Per Week, 12 hours Per Day Work Pattern: 4 on 4 off including night shift

Responsibilities:

• Patrol premises to ensure security and safety of employees, visitors, and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activities or incidents
• Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner and escalate as necessary
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential security risks
• Enforce access control policies and procedures
• Assist with implementing and maintaining security protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop security awareness training programs

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and react quickly in high-pressure situations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
