Aerodynamics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Aerodynamics Engineer to join our team at Williams F1. As an Aerodynamics Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of our Formula One car.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse aerodynamic data and develop insights to inform car design and performance
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
• Develop and maintain complex CFD models and simulations
• Collaborate with wind tunnel and track testing teams to validate aerodynamic performance
• Contribute to the development of aerodynamic strategies and plans

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in aerodynamics or a related field
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, and wind tunnel testing
• Experience with CFD software such as OpenFOAM or ANSYS
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
