Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide dedicated infrastructure support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration management for server, network, and software infrastructure
• Collaborate with other organizations to request and coordinate changes
• Work with the development team on installation and configuration of deployments
• Resolve trouble reports and outages
• Ensure products operate as required and meet performance requirements
• Maintain up-to-date production support documentation
• Test and implement upgrades and new versions
• Complete post-production checklists
• Support OS installation, configuration, patching, and compliance reporting
• Support logging and system monitoring
• Coordinate backups and recovery
• Provide database administrator support
• Support maintenance updates to COOP and disaster recovery exercises
• Follow Judiciary and Federal IT Security standards, policies, and reporting requirements
• Work with development team and security organizations on security and information assurance compliance
• Assist with ensuring hosted solutions compliance with FedRAMP
• Keep secure and sensitive data behind the AO firewall
• Coordinate with teaming partners or subcontractors
• Document task status daily

Desired Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:

• 5+ years of relevant infrastructure support experience
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with open-source LAMP application development stack
• Linux administration experience
• Windows administration experience
• Experience working with MySQL database
• Familiarity with Redis and Apache Solr
• Experience working in a load-balanced environment
• Understanding of IT practices, service management, governance frameworks, and industry standards
• Proficiency in business tools
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work independently and analyze complex data
