Description
Ofgem is seeking a Senior Strategy Manager to join the Future Organisation Design and Capability team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing organisation-design and operating-model thinking to support the development of Future Ofgem.
The role involves leading defined pieces of strategic analysis, organisation-design, and operating-model work, exploring how changes in Ofgem's strategic and operating context could affect how the organisation needs to work in the future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading organisation-design and operating-model analysis
- Bringing together evidence about how Ofgem operates today and how its context may change in the future
- Developing and testing organisational and operating-model hypotheses and options
- Contributing to the development and testing of strategic shifts and central planning assumptions
- Using systems thinking, strategic foresight, and futures approaches to explore uncertainty and challenge assumptions
- Planning and leading research, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative activity
- Synthesizing complex evidence into clear findings, options, and recommendations
The ideal candidate will have experience of structuring complex problems, understanding organisational implications, and working through uncertainty. They will also have excellent communication and influencing skills.
In return, Ofgem offers a competitive salary of £49,452 - £62,699 per year, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to contribute to the development of Future Ofgem.
