Part-Time Substitute Teacher (Up to $144 Daily)

We are hiring Preschool and Daycare Substitute Teachers in Shallotte, NC and surrounding areas in Brunswick County.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will:

• Fill in for teachers on leave due to vacation, illness, or personal matters
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experience for children
• Engage children in various activities such as educational games, arts and crafts, music, meals, outdoor play, and more
• Work with a team of teachers, following the guidance of the onsite program director
• Communicate with families about their child's day and progress
• Complete a training and onboarding process with Wonderschool

In terms of compensation and incentives, you can:

• Earn $14-$18/hour, up to $144/day
• Receive a $75 First Job Bonus within 30 days of completing onboarding
• Get a $250 Bonus at 40 hours with CPR/First Aid certification complete
• Earn a $200 Bonus for every 200 hours of substitute teaching

To qualify as a Substitute Teacher, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have experience in childcare, teaching, or working with children ages 0-5
• Be patient, dependable, and excited to support young children as they learn and grow
• Be able to pass a state background check and complete a TB test/physical
• Possess one of the following qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• EDU 119 Early Childhood Credential
• ECE AA or BA Degree
• 1+ years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
