Description
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Premier Relationship Manager. As a Premier Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value customers, acquiring new customers, and cross-selling HSBC products and services.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Premier customers, ensuring professionalism, customer focus, and a broad understanding of financial planning fundamentals.
- Acquire, cross-sell, and retain Premier customers, working with the broader branch and direct teams to achieve business performance measures.
- Conduct full reviews of customer portfolios to establish and address immediate and future financial requirements.
- Become a trusted adviser to customers, identifying cross-selling opportunities and embedding customer loyalty.
- Identify non-qualifiers, attract business to reinstate eligibility, or transfer out of the portfolio in a customer-driven manner.
- Maintain service quality standards, adhering to published Service Level Agreements.
- Be accountable for portfolio performance, ensuring effective management and adherence to the Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Create and maintain an environment where the Branch team maximizes performance, achieving IWPB business objectives while providing high-quality service.
- Identify opportunities for wealth reviews and refer them to an appropriate wealth adviser.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Recognized tertiary Diploma/Degree qualification.
- Minimum of five (5) years of proven and progressive financial services and/or retail sales experience.
- Evidence of strong sales results in insurance and investment products.
- Relationship management experience with high-net-worth clients.
- Strong technical skills in wealth management.
- Strong communication, client focus, and influencing skills.
- Strong sales orientation, networking, and portfolio management skills.
- Sound knowledge of financial services products and services and the client relationship management system.
- Understanding of business banking client segments and products/services.
- Licenses: Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Pre-Contract Examination - Life and Insurance (PCE), Federation of Investment Managers - Unit Trust, Malaysian Takaful Association License (MTA), and Investor Protection Professional Certification (IPPC).
- Ability to communicate well in English and local languages.
