Description
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Quality Engineer (Associate) to support the Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) team in Boeing Jacksonville, FL.
This position will be directly supporting the Core Quality and Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) team. Boeing Jacksonville is a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility that supports commercial and defense customers with a broad range of aircraft services.
Job responsibilities include:
- Research and interpret contractual, regulatory, and Boeing Quality Management System requirements
- Develop portions of quality metrics and certification plans
- Analyze supplier capability assessments and support supplier selection activities
- Participate in design and program reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs
- Perform data analysis to verify manufacturing and test readiness and identify gaps
- Review and disposition material non-conformances
- Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions
- Compile performance reports and statistical data
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation and records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements
- Escalate complex or unresolved quality issues to leadership
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or mathematics
- Proficient in common computer operating systems
- Ability to travel domestically
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of quality or related experience
- MRO program experience
