Description
We are seeking a Contract & Demand Manager to join Vattenfall Power Solutions, a business unit with approximately 700 employees within Business Area Vattenfall Generation. As a Contract & Demand Manager, you will help our operations access the right external expertise at the right time. You will convert needs for technical consultants and other resources into clear and quality-assured requests, calls, and orders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, analyzing, and quality-assuring the organization's needs for technical consultants
- Conducting inquiries, calls, and orders according to applicable framework agreements
- Developing and managing supplier relationships and following up on deliveries and delivery quality
- Handling dialogues on prices, terms, and consultant levels
- Collaborating with the organization, procurement function, and other relevant stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of processes, working methods, and system support in the sourcing area
You will work in a growing and business-critical area where you combine understanding of technical operations with purchasing, supplier relationships, and business assessments. At the same time, you will contribute to developing how Vattenfall Power Solutions works with external technical resources.
Requirements:
- A few years of experience in sourcing, procurement, consulting supply, or a related field
- Post-secondary education with a technical or procurement-related focus, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in independently coordinating issues together with several stakeholders
- Experience in supplier dialogue and business assessments
- Ability to convert operational needs into concrete solutions and orders
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in writing and speaking
It is advantageous if you have experience in:
- The energy sector or other technical operations
- Operational procurement T&M, ABK09, or other industry agreements
- Consulting suppliers, framework agreements, or procurement-related work
- Change management and process development
- SAP, Fieldglass, or similar business systems
