Facilities Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift - Memphis

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will join a small, highly motivated team focused on engineering excellence. You will help build, activate, and maintain advanced data centers, working autonomously to solve complex problems and manage multiple projects. Your role involves collaborating with engineers, managers, and customers to maintain systems, develop work instructions, and ensure zero unplanned interruptions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Perform ductwork modifications, brazing, soldering, and refrigerant handling.
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and heating systems.
• Conduct hands-on shop work, disassembly, inspection, and testing of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and site regulations.
• Read and interpret schematics for assembly and repair.
• Perform failure assessments and safety inspections.
• Adjust and fabricate mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
• Present equipment maintenance statuses to internal and external customers.
• Operate various equipment, including forklifts and cranes.
• Use MS Office and SpaceX systems for communication and work tracking.
• Take on additional responsibilities and manage priorities with minimal guidance.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Technical certification in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical systems.
• Knowledge of high-pressure gases, refrigeration, and HEPA filters.
• Experience with commercial building codes and technical language in specifications.
