RBT/ABA Support Assistant

We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Support Assistant to join our team at High Tech Elementary North County. As an RBT/ABA Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that students with exceptionally diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers by working with individual students on a one-to-one basis, including toileting and hygiene support, attending to student medical needs, implementation of a behavior intervention plan, and 1:1 instruction delivered in a separate setting
• Assist with the instruction and supervision of students who may have learning differences
• Assist with tutorial activities working with an individual or group of students who may have learning differences
• Monitor student progress and provide input for evaluation and parent conference upon request
• Establish rapport and meaningful relationships with referred students to assist in improving their behavior, educational performance, and social relationships
• Perform clerical support duties including typing, completing documents, forms, record, correspondence; which may include note taking for students

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification or ABA Training equivalent
• One of the following: An Associate's degree (or higher); or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university; or Met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading (or readiness), writing (or readiness), and mathematics (or readiness), CBEST test

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in a school/learning environment
• More than 6 months experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis

Salary: $29.30 - $35.73 per hour
