Anduril Industries is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer in Quincy, MA.

The Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) will assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in implementing and directing the industrial security program, ensuring company and customer security requirements are met at Anduril's Boston-area locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the FSO in administering day-to-day security programs in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, Security Classification Guides, and program guidance.
  • Conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
  • Provide guidance to employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures.
  • Work with various stakeholders, including Program Management, Classified IT, and Physical Security.
  • Assist in Open Storage Area (OSA) buildout coordination and accreditation.
  • Maintain and update the DISS and NISS for Anduril Boston-area region locations.
  • Assist the FSO in conducting TS inventories and annual self-inspections.
  • Ensure all assigned personnel meet/maintain the appropriate security clearance requirements.
  • Update and query required information systems as needed to perform assigned duties.
  • Maintain required hard-copy files to perform assigned duties.
  • Assist in preparing and executing required periodic reporting and audits.
  • Provide continuous training and guidance in all areas of security.
  • Enforce foreign contact and travel requirements, entry procedures, escort procedures, document control procedures, and classification review/guidance requests.
  • Report security incidents to the FSO and Regional FSO.
  • Provide training and guidance on handling, safeguarding, marking classified material.
  • Verify and provide training for requests for courier authorizations.
  • Coordinate industrial security procedures as necessary.
  • Assist in providing inputs to the security sections in response to Request for Proposals (RFP) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA).
  • Maintain hard/soft copies of DD Form 254.
  • Perform administrative duties such as updating trackers and internal databases.
  • Assist in managing collateral facilities, access control systems, and alarm systems.
  • Update Anduril's Security Policies and Procedures (SPP) as required.
  • Ensure the Security Management software/database (SIMS) is accurate and updated.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related Security experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Must complete DISS/NISS training
  • Must hold a current U.S. TOP SECRET security clearance
  • Understanding of DISS, e-QIP, NISS, and ISFD
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate policy and procedures clearly
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and demands
  • Thorough working knowledge of the 32 CFR
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
