Description
This is a highly experienced and strategic role on the legal team, often serving as the lead paralegal on major cases and projects.
The successful candidate will have advanced legal knowledge, superior organisational skills, and the ability to independently manage complex and high-stakes matters.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and management of complex cases, including high-volume litigation and corporate transactions.
- Provide strategic input during case planning, research, and pre-trial preparations.
- Draft, review, and manage critical legal documents with minimal legal counsel oversight.
- Oversee and coordinate discovery processes, including document production and e-discovery management.
- Train, mentor, and review work of junior paralegals and support staff.
- Maintain direct client relationships, managing expectations and ensuring superior service quality.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of corporate governance matters for domestic and international subsidiaries.
- Managing corporate entity database and outside local counsel.
- Preparing corporate minutes and resolutions, powers of attorney, and other required documentation.
- Assisting in preparation and filing of SEC reports.
- Supporting licensing, compliance, and KYC teams in responding to document and information requests.
Requirements:
- 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelors’ degree or paralegal certificate (ABA approved).
- At least 5+ years of experience with a concentration in international subsidiary management/corporate governance.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and SharePoint.
