Description
We are seeking a Senior Hardware Validation Engineer to join our board design Hardware Team in Israel. The team focuses on developing networking infrastructure for NVIDIA's next-generation data centers, emphasising accelerated performance and optimised end-to-end GPU connectivity.
You will perform board bring-up, validation, and debugging activities in the lab. This involves operating lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic/spectrum analysers, and multimeters. You will also support hardware investigations by reading schematics, analysing layouts, and completing test procedures. Documenting test results and communicating findings clearly to engineering teams is crucial. Collaboration with electrical, mechanical, thermal, and system engineers throughout the development cycle is essential.
Requirements include:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or relevant education or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a hardware lab environment
- Proven experience with lab equipment and board-level debugging
- Ability to understand schematics and PCB layouts
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork mindset
- Good technical English for reading datasheets and writing reports
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes)
- Familiarity with thermal/mechanical test setups
- Experience with test automation
- Background using bug tracking or PLM tools
