Senior Account Executive, Startups (SoCal)

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive, Startups (SoCal) to join our team at Cloudflare. As a Senior Account Executive, you will develop, execute, and maintain your territory plan to exceed quarterly sales targets and annual quota assignment. You will be an expert in three unique sales motions: new business acquisition, customer expansion, and renewal within your territory.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a territory plan to exceed sales targets
• Be an expert in new business acquisition, customer expansion, and renewal
• Build a robust sales pipeline utilizing four sourcing funnels
• Develop and leverage a deep technical understanding of Cloudflare's solutions
• Craft and communicate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services
• Accurately forecast and build commercial outcomes
• Build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
• Network across different business units and multi-thread to identify new buyers
• Position Cloudflare's platform in target customers
• Operate internally as a liaison with cross-functional teams

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• 5+ years sales experience selling B2B SaaS
• Strong B2B discovery skills
• Track record of beating annual targets of $1M+
• Experienced in multithreading into the C-suite and across an organization
• Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit
• Bachelor's degree required
• Software and system skills are a must (SFDC, Tableau, G-suite, MSFT suite)
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Compensation:

• Estimated annual salary of $234,000 - $321,000 for California (excluding Bay Area) based hires
• Eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare's Sales Compensation Plan
• Eligible to participate in Cloudflare's equity plan
