Description
We are seeking a Senior Associate, Digital Designer and Storyteller to join our Associate Insight, Media and START (AIMS) Team at Capital One. As a Digital Designer and Storyteller, you will be responsible for creating rich multimedia experiences that inform and inspire Ambassadors and associates to deliver an excellent customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a versatile designer and multimedia storyteller who is highly proficient technically and can create compelling videos, graphics, logos, and web designs. You will be a part of a smart, creative, and talented team responsible for delivering high-quality multimedia experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute video production processes to ensure well-managed, high-quality, on-brand content
- Deliver graphic design solutions across various channels and platforms applying Capital One brand standards
- Design, develop, and maintain intranet sites within Capital One’s design system and platform
- Participate in Agile practices and employ good organization, time management, and communication skills
- Collaborate with the Well-Managed Process Owner on process improvement work
- Build connections with the broader Retail Bank and enterprise-wide multimedia communities
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- At least 3 years of experience in filming, editing, and video production using Adobe Premiere
- At least 3 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- At least 1 year of experience in web design using HTML or JavaScript
- At least 1 year of experience in UX or UI design
- At least 1 year of experience working with Google Suite products
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Video Production, Computer Science, Web Design, or Graphic Design
- 5+ years of work experience in web, logo, or graphic design
- 5+ years of work experience in video production and editing in Adobe Premiere
- 2+ years of experience using Google Suite
- 2+ years of experience in UI or UX design
- 1+ year of experience developing web pages in LumApps
- 1+ year of experience formatting and laying out online articles
- 1+ year of experience working with Agile methodologies

Salary Range:
- McLean, VA: $88,800 - $101,300 per year
- Richmond, VA: $80,800 - $92,200 per year
- Wilmington, DE: $80,800 - $92,200 per year
