Senior Finance Specialist

Join Razer's global mission to revolutionize gaming. As a Senior Finance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting Razer Gold entities in Singapore and Australia.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct monthly financial analysis, including revenue, gross profit margin, and expenses fluctuation.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to identify areas of concern.
• Manage cash flow analysis and projections to optimize cash flow and plan for future needs.
• Collaborate with foreign business teams to obtain information, clarify accounting policies, and address issues.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities on finance-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) safeguarding requirements.
• Provide timely responses to queries and requests from foreign entities.
• Ensure foreign entities comply with local financial regulations and tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform financial close activities and prepare management accounts, financial reports, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accounting record integrity and ensure financial data completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements, including MAS reporting obligations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Support tax compliance activities, including GST/VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Drive continuous process improvements and support system enhancements.

Pre-Requisites

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA) advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) functions.
• Experience in managing full set accounts, financial close activities, and statutory reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within established timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems in a finance and accounting environment.
