Description
We are seeking a Senior Topographical Surveyor to join our Surveying Services team in the UK.
The successful candidate will be based at our Liverpool or Northwich offices and will work on a variety of surveying projects across the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating live projects and managing site and office teams UK-wide
- Assisting with bidding, proposal writing, and marketing for new projects
- Carrying out land and engineering surveys in accordance with briefs and specifications
- Processing and checking projects while maintaining high standards
- Mentoring junior team members
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or a related discipline
- Significant experience in a similar role (typically 5-10 years)
- Comprehensive understanding of project and commercial considerations
- Competency in using total stations, GNSS, and terrestrial laser scanners
- Experience with relevant software such as N4ce, Trimble Business Centre, and AutoCAD
- Good problem-solving, self-management, and people skills
- Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team
- Ability to manage and mentor staff
- The ability to travel UK-wide on a regular basis
