Description
We are seeking a P-8A Console Controller to join our team at the P-8A Training Centre in RAF Lossiemouth. As a Console Controller, you will perform simulator support in accordance with company standards, customer training requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enabling facilitation of individual and whole crew training events
- Delivering training on console operation to RAF personnel where applicable
- Participating in 'White Force' role playing
- Supporting Team and Collective Training through the DOTC (or other) network
- Acting as 'game controller' during WTT/WST training events
- Briefing and debriefing WTT/WST training events
- Providing training services support that meets the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and processes
Requirements:
- Eligibility for UK SC Security Clearance
- Successfully completed the Aircrew Instructors' Course (AIC)
Preferred qualifications:
- RAF/RN instructional background and experience as an ex maritime WSO or Observer
- Ability to communicate with personnel from multiple skill areas, cultures, and functions
- IT proficiency, specifically Microsoft Office applications
- Skill and ability to collect, organise, and analyse data; summarise findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
