Sr. Manager, Security Operations

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Security Operations to lead our Security Engineering team at Vanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Security Operations team, assisting with incident response, setting detection and response strategy, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a team of security operations analysts
• Define the strategy for Vanta's security operations team
• Leverage AI to improve efficiency of team processes and security program maturity
• Lead and drive incident response
• Identify, develop, and implement new processes in security operations
• Identify new technologies and emerging threats

Requirements:

• Strong leadership experience in security
• Strong security operations experience in a SaaS and cloud environment
• Experience in crafting detections and observability strategies
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
• Experience with leveraging AI to improve security processes
• Experience with incident response
• Ability to assess and analyze security risks comprehensively
• Ability to build trust and strong partnerships internally
