Description
We are seeking a Business Consultant Accounting to join our Finance team at KPN. As a Business Consultant Accounting & Financial IT, you will be the connecting link between Accounting, processes, and IT. You will ensure that changes within systems, processes, and projects align with the financial reality and meet Accounting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Advise management and stakeholders on complex Accounting, financial process, and IT issues.
- Represent Accounting interests in projects and changes, ensuring requirements are met.
- Analyze end-to-end processes, data, and cash flows, translating business and accounting needs into functional requirements.
- Assess the impact of changes on financial processes, system configuration, and reporting.
- Lead changes impacting Accounting, from intake to testing, implementation, and follow-up.
- Initiate and implement improvements in standardization, automation, risk management, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Science, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Control, financial process design, or financial IT.
- Knowledge of financial processes, general ledger administration, sub-ledgers, journalizing, and accounting principles.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or similar cloud ERP platforms and IT issues.
- Excellent Dutch and English language skills.
