Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient - Pelvic Health

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for our outpatient pelvic health clinic at Aurora Medical Center Mount Pleasant.

As a Physical Therapist at Advocate Health, you will interpret physician referrals and complete evaluations using appropriate methods. You will establish a plan of care, implement individual treatment, monitor outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Responsibilities also include communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams, as well as maintaining accurate records and managing administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret physician referrals and complete musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations
• Establish a plan of care and implement individual treatment based on evaluation results and functional goals
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimum care
• Complete required documentation, including patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries
• Manage administrative tasks, such as daily statistics, billing, and scheduling

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state where you work
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pelvic health or related areas
