We are looking for a Software Engineer, Backend to join our Merchant Growth Platform PST in Malaysia team. As a Software Engineer, Backend, you will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and applications, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in backend systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and applications
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that solutions are aligned with industry standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in backend systems and applications
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in backend software development with languages such as Golang, Java, or Python
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Good understanding of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
