Physical Therapist Assistant II - Inpatient/Acute Care - Atrium Health Greater Charlotte Float- FT

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant II to join our team at Atrium Health Greater Charlotte. As a Physical Therapist Assistant II, you will support four Atrium Health Inpatient facilities and three Acute Care facilities, providing high-quality patient care across various settings.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide age-appropriate patient care, applying principles of growth and development
• Support Physical Therapists in delivering comprehensive patient care across various systems
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including patient education, exercise, and gait training
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, adhering to departmental policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly treatment environment
• Pursue professional growth through continuing education and evidence-based practices

Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state(s) of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
• Intermediate computer proficiency and strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
