Description
As a MedTech RN Clinical Educator at IQVIA, you will utilise your clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals and advocating for patient well-being through medical device technology.
Your primary focus will be training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on a new medical device primarily used in Infusion, Vascular Access, Critical Care unit settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff to support medical device implementations
- Assessing customer-specific education needs and collaborating with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
- Utilising clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical device
- Providing updates, reports, and valuable feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments
This per-diem position requires travel and flexibility to work with your current schedule, with a minimum availability of 2 weeks per month. You will travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.
Requirements:
- RN degree - Associates required
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Infusion or Vascular Access experience of at least 3-5 years
- Basic software program proficiency
- Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally
- Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements
- Up-to-date immunisations may be required
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Critical Care unit experience of at least 2 years
- Leadership experience
