Equipment Service Co-op/Intern - Summer 2027

This Equipment Service Co-op/Intern role is available in 7 locations for the Summer 2027 Co-op/Internship Session (May - August). You will work alongside a maintenance technician, focusing on Honda safety procedures, quality policies, root cause and countermeasure analysis, preventative maintenance work orders, and maintenance repair work.

Assignments may include:

• Building Maintenance: multi-disciplinary projects encompassing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration disciplines
• Weld: confirmation of line-side hardwire prints, basic electrical wiring, and use of basic shop equipment
• Paint: support fabrication activities and assist maintenance on emergency calls
• Stamping: press inspections, breakdowns, and repairs
• Facilities: general building maintenance including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial safety, and industrial math
• Positive attitude and proactive approach with equipment maintenance
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
• Effective communication skills
• Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher
• Class Status: Freshman or above
• Term: Minimum of 10 weeks required
• Shift/Hours: Must be able to work a minimum of three days per week and at least four hours per day
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Ability to secure own transportation to and from work each day
